VFW Post 1913 is hosting a pair of services today to commemorate Memorial Day.
Post Commander John Brame says they return to the traditional schedule this year with the service at Riverside Cemetery at 9 and the one at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West at 11 o’clock.
Attendees will honor those who died defending freedom and the VFW will host a lunch at it’s facility next to Kroger following the Veterans Cemetery service.
The public is invited to attend any of the events.
