Reds hold off Cubs, Braves win Wednesday

The Cincinnati Reds snapped a two game losing streak holding off the Chicago Cubs 4-3 last night at Great American Ball Park. Joey Votto had a home run, a triple, and three RBI in the victory. The teams close out the series this afternoon with pregame at 11:05 this morning on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.

Elsewhere in the National League: The Atlanta Braves doubled up the Philadelphia Phillies 8-4. Dansby Swanson, Austin Riley, and William Contreras all homered in the win. The series concludes tonight.

Following an off day, the St. Louis Cardinals host the Milwaukee Brewers in the first of a four game set at Busch Stadium. Adam Wainwright gets the start for the Redbirds.
