The man sought in connection with the Friday morning murder of a woman on Heltsley Road near Clifty in north Todd County has been arrested.
The Logan County Sheriff’s office arrested 44-year old David Odeal Slagle at a residence on Duncan Ridge Road and served him with the warrant for murder.
A news release says the homeowner at 2110 Duncan Ridge said Slagle arrived at his home just prior to daylight Saturday. Deputies set up a perimeter and ordered Slagle out and he exited a few minutes later, allowing police to arrest him without further incident.
Todd County Coroner Timothy Wells identified the victim as 57-year old Deborah McGee of Heltsley Lane and Kentucky State Police confirms she died from a gunshot wound.
The Todd County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.
