Commencement ceremonies were held Friday at Austin Peay State University for the Class of 2022, who overcame years of obstacles to achieve their goals.
APSU President Dr. Michael Licari gave special recognition to those who are the first in their family to graduate college and to those who have served or who are serving in the military and says all of the graduates have reason to be proud.
The Gov graduates made it through two years of pandemic measures that limited on-campus learning at times and then last week brought a ransomware attack on the campus computer system. Dr. Licari says the 2022 graduates are well-prepared to thrive when adversity comes their way.
