Adam Wainwright and Yadier Molina made history during a 10-0 St. Louis Cardinals rout of the Kansas City Royals. The duo won their 202nd game working together, which ties them with the Braves’ Warren Spahn and Del Crandall for most team wins by starting battery mates. The pair have now worked 310 games together overall, which ranks third all-time. Wainwright gave up just one hit over seven innings as he moved to 3-and-3 on the season. The Cardinals begin a weekend series tonight in San Francisco.

The Chicago White Sox scored a go-ahead run in the top of the sixth to beat the Chicago Cubs 4-3 at Wrigley Field. The Cubs have lost five of their last six and are off today before hosting the Los Angeles Dodgers tomorrow night.
