The Joy Closet helped over 50 foster care families in the Pennyrile region with much-needed supplies last month alone and the organization will have a fundraiser this weekend at Christian Way Farm.
Heather Gray is the executive director and says Joy Closet provides clothing and other needs to families who accept a foster child placement.
The fundraiser will begin with a pancake breakfast from 9 until 11 Saturday morning at Christian Way Farm and there will also be a vendor fair and silent auction.
If you can’t make it to the fundraiser Saturday, Gray says you can always donate cash or items that they need.
