Five people were injured in an accident involving three vehicles Monday night on Madisonville Road at the Bypass.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office investigated and determined Jeffrey Powell of Hopkinsville was southbound on Madisonville Road and attempted to make a left turn onto the Bypass when he drove into the path of a northbound vehicle operated by Tenisha Walton of Crofton.
Their vehicles collided and Walton then struck a van driven by Andrew Stites of Hopkinsville.
Walton’s passenger, Johnathon Walton of Crofton, and four passengers in Stites van were all taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
