Hopkinsville Mayor Wendell Lynch will present his annual budget address to City Council and to the residents of Hopkinsville on Friday, May 13.
Appearing live Monday morning on WHOP, the mayor said it was a difficult budget to prepare considering uncertainty at times about revenues.
The Hopkinsville City Council Committee of the Whole will spend at least one meeting going over the budget and possibly more before council must approve the spending plan on first and second readings by the end of the fiscal year June 30.
The budget address will be livestreamed on the City of Hopkinsville Facebook page and televised on City TV Spectrum Channel 376.
