Princeton’s Emma Talley tied for 26th at the LPGA Tour’s Palos Verdes Championship Sunday. She finished the event at two under par and won $12,489. Marina Alex at 10 under par was a one shot winner over Jin Young Ko.
Jon Rahm won the PGA Tour’s Mexico Open in Villa Hidalgo. Rahm held on for the one-stroke victory after shooting a 69 in the final round to finish 17-under par. Brandon Wu, Tony Finau, and Kurt Kitayama finished in a three-way tie for second place at 16-under. This is the first victory of the season for Rahm after finishing second in the Sentry Tournament of Champions and third in the Farmers Insurance Open.
