Murray State opened a weekend Ohio Valley Conference series with a 12-8 win over SIU Edwardsville Friday afternoon. The Racers are now 23-18/8-8 in the OVC heading into a 2 pm game Saturday at Johnny Reagan Field.
Austin Peay opened a non-conference series Friday afternoon with a 5-3 loss at Toledo. The Governors are now 16-27 heading into the second game of the series Saturday at noon.
