The child killed in an accident on Old Railroad Lane in Todd County Thursday afternoon has been identified and the community is raising money for the family of the small child who drowned near his home Sunday afternoon.
An obituary from Latham Funeral Home says funeral services will be 10 a.m. Sunday at the North District Amish Church for 12-year old John Aaron Detweiler of Guthrie. As previously reported, Coroner Timothy Wells says Detweiler had been running alongside a skid steer operated by a sibling when he apparently fell and went underneath.
Meanwhile, a GoFundMe account has been established for the family of 5-year old Noah Doucette, who drowned in a swimming pool after going missing from his home near Clifty Sunday. All funds raised will go to help the family with the funeral and other expenses.
