A single-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon on the Eagle Way Bypass sent the driver to the hospital for injuries.
It happened about 4:15 p.m. and the report from Hopkinsville police says 36-year old Cory Winter of Hopkinsville was westbound and pulling a trailer behind his pickup near the Pennyrile Parkway interchange when a witness said the trailer began swaying to the left and right.
The pickup then flipped, rolled and came to rest in a ditch.
Winter was taken by EMS to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
