A child was killed in an accident Thursday afternoon on Old Railroad Lane in Todd County.
Todd County Coroner Timothy Wells says it appears the 12-year old boy was running alongside a skid steer that was operated by a sibling and the boy possibly fell, causing him to go underneath.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene and his name has not been released.
The incident happened just after 2 pm near the victim’s home.
The Todd County Sheriff’s Office, Todd County EMS, Todd County Emergency Management, and Todd County Chaplains also responded to the scene.
