The Atlanta Braves have activated Ronald Acuna, Jr. for this evening’s game against the Chicago Cubs. He will play in right field for the Braves as he returns from an ACL injury which ended his 2021 season last July.

The St. Louis Cardinals will welcome their 50 millionth fan to Busch Stadium tonight when they begin a weekend series with the Arizona Diamondbacks. They will set the mark in their 1,221st game played at the stadium that opened in 2006.

NFL

Sports Business Journal reports Fox Sports and former New Orleans Saints coach Sean Peyton are “deep” in negotiations for him to become a studio analyst for the 2022 season. Fox Sports officials declined comment on the story.

Golf

Golf Digest.com reports a source from within Tiger Woods camp saying he intends to play in the PGA Championship barring any setbacks. The second major of the year is scheduled for next month at Southern Hills in Tulsa, OK.
