Austin Peay athletics director Gerald Harrison announced Monday the immediate dismissal of coach Travis Janssen. Janssen was in his seventh season as Governors coach, compiling 169-173 mark. He is one of only three head coaches with 150-plus wins at Austin Peay. Assistant coach Trevor Fitts will serve as the Governors interim coach for the remainder of the season and until a replacement is named.
