Heritage Christian edged Hopkins Central 4-3. The Warriors got nine hits, including two from Weston Powell which included what proved to be the game winning double in the 7th inning. JJ Thompson had three hits to pace the Warriors while Tra Fowler got the pitching win in relief. HCA is now 13-5 overall and 4-5 against KHSAA schools.
Elsewhere: Northwest pounded Fort Campbell 18-2 in 2 innings and Allen County Scottsville rocked Russellville 10-1 in 3 innings.
