Georgia defensive end Travon Walker has gone from being a longshot to likely the top pick in the NFL Draft on Thursday night. ESPN reports Walker reached the top spot at sportsbooks on Sunday, passing Aidan Hutchison of Michigan. Hutchison had been the outright favorite to go first since early March.
CBS Sports.com reports the NFL is mulling the idea of playing a game on “Black Friday” possibly as early as this coming season. The “Black Friday” game will likely be scheduled in the afternoon, as the NFL can not broadcast games on Friday nights from September through November as part of its antitrust exception.
