A two-vehicle accident in the Penchem community of Todd County Saturday evening sent a Madisonville woman to the hospital.
The Todd County Sheriff’s Office investigated and determined Marilee Dunlap of Madisonville was traveling on Penchem Road and failed to stop at the Guthrie Road intersection just before 6 p.m.
She drove into the path of a southbound Jeep operated by Betty Lambert of Ashland City, Tennessee and their vehicles collided.
Dunlap was taken by EMS to a local hospital for minor injuries, while Lambert and her passenger were not injured.
The Guthrie Volunteer Fire Department and Todd County Rescue Squad assisted at the scene.
