Local youngsters who are interested in racing in this year’s Kiwanis Soap Box Derby and who haven’t participated in the past are invited to an event Saturday morning at Ruff Park to learn more.
Annie Catron with Kiwanis says it’ll go from 10 until 2 and it’s not a commitment to racing in the derby.
She says experienced drivers who plan to compete again this week will need to get their cars on Tuesday or Thursday of next week and the club is reaching out to those families.
The 2022 Kiwanis Soap Box Derby is set for June 11 and it will feature stock, super stock and super kids divisions.
