Book signing with Kathy Des Jardins set for Monday at public library

The Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library will be hosting a book signing for newly published author, Kathy Des Jardins on Monday.

It will take place from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. The book signing and discussion will be held on the first floor of the library. Kathy Des Jardins is a native of Christian County and owns a publications firm in metro Atlanta and is a member of the Atlanta Writers Club and Roswell Reads. She is a former newspaper reporter, columnist, and editor.

Des Jardins says, “I’m so excited to get back to Hopkinsville, to see family and friends on April 25th!”

Ms. Des Jardins now honors her roots with a reimagined version of Hopkinsville with her new book, Mama Tried. The story follows Disc jockey Joy Faye Savoy, in her exploits of making good natured digs at her bossy mother, when suddenly she finds her radio show syndicated for all the world to hear. Join the library as Des Jardins discusses her book and answers questions.

Copies of Mama Tried will be available for purchase and signing
