Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is reflecting on his political career and says he hopes to become the longest serving Senate leader ever.
While speaking to a group in Kentucky, the Republican Senator said he’ll tie former Senator Mike Mansfield at the end of this year for the longest serving.
Senator McConnell was first elected in 1984.
