Warren Central used a five run second inning in defeating Hopkinsville 6-4. Danisha Owen had two of the Lady Tigers six hits as Hopkinsville fell to 2-6-1 on the season. Shanyia Straight suffered the pitching loss.
Krista Keller was 2-3 at the plate as University Heights routed Dawson Springs 17-2 in four innings in the 2nd Region All A Classic. Reagan Pollard was the winning pitcher for the Lady Blazers now 2-2 on the season. The Lady Blazers will face Caldwell County in the semifinal round scheduled for this morning.
Christian County’s game with Mercy at the Marshall County Slugfest was halted due to weather. The Lady Colonels were leading 13-2 in the bottom of the fifth inning when the game was stopped.
Fort Campbell downed Heritage Christian Academy 18-3 on post Friday.
