Baseball: The Hopkinsville Tigers ended a five game losing streak with a 6-0 win over Heritage Christian Academy in the first ever meeting between the schools. Kaden West had three hits in the win for the Tigers while Zach Moss in getting the pitching win struck out 11. HCA had just two hits, a double from JJ Thompson and Weston Powell added a single and took the pitching loss. Hopkinsville is now 4-8 on the season while Heritage Christian is 3-3 against KHSAA competition.
Todd Central downed University Heights 10-3 in the Kelly Russell Classic in Russellville. The Blazers are now 7-6 on the season.
Softball: Christian County was pounded 11-1 by top ranked Marshall County in the Marshall County Slugfest. The Lady Colonels are now 11-3 on the season.
