Two University Heights Academy juniors and six from Trigg County have been selected to participate in the Governor’s Scholars Program.
UHA officials say Katelyn Bennett and Mallory Aldridge will participate in the five week summer program that strives to enhance Kentucky’s next generation of civic and economic leaders.
The students at Trigg County High School are Aydan Joiner, James Redd, Ashley Gear, Elizabeth Hiter, Jasmine Velez and Mikato Hiter.
All of the students competed and were selected based on a rigorous application process.
