A two-vehicle accident Friday morning at South Main and West Fourth Street sent two people to the hospital.
The collision report from Hopkinsville police says 63-year old Sandy Newton of Hopkinsville was attempting to turn right from Fourth onto South Main and drove into the path of a southbound pickup operated by 33-year old John Lancaster of Hopkinsville.
Newton and her passenger, 70-year old Smith Newton of Hopkinsville, were both taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
