Hopkinsville’s Downtown Farmers Market opens for the first time this season Saturday.
Laura Faulkner with Downtown Renaissance says they’ll open at 7 a.m. at Founders Square on the corner of Ninth and Main Street and there will be produce, flowers and other goods that patrons have come to look for over the years.
Faulkner says 10 vendors are scheduled to be set up Saturday, but those numbers are likely to go up as the season progresses.
She says they’re going to try to have the farmers market during the evening on a few Thursdays this year.
Faulkner reminds that the farmers market accepts credit, debit and EBT cards as payment and they’re open every Saturday from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m.
