Ole Miss used a three run first and five run sixth inning in downing Murray State 8-2 on Tuesday in Oxford. The Racers were held four hits-all of them doubles. Murray State is now 15-16 and hosts UT Martin in the first of a three game series tomorrow afternoon at 5 pm.
Western Kentucky lost at 11th ranked Vanderbilt 7-4. The Hilltoppers are 13-19 heading into a weekend series at Florida Atlantic beginning tomorrow in Boca Raton.
