HPD arrests man on burglary charge

An investigation by Hopkinsville police at a South Main Street building Tuesday morning led to a man being arrested on a burglary charge.

The arrest citation for 50-year old Joseph Brown of Hopkinsville says he was discovered asleep in an office at the City Creek Investment Company building at 1100 South Main about 9:30 a.m. and that he had recently been warned to stay away from the facility.

Police say Brown had a small baggie containing methamphetamine and he was arrested for third-degree burglary.
