North Carolina big man Armando Bacot announced on social media today he will return to the Tar Heels for his senior year. Bacot said after the Tar Heels made it to the national championship game before losing to Kansas that he wanted to make another run next season for a national title.

College Football

Former Georgia and Southern Cal quarterback JT Daniels tells ESPN he is transferring to West Virginia. Daniels was 7-0 as a starter in two seasons for the Bulldogs. He chose the Mountaineers over Missouri and Oregon State after taking visits to all three in recent weeks.

The St. Louis Cardinals-Kansas City Royals game scheduled for this afternoon at Busch Stadium has been postponed due to rain. It will be made up on Monday, May 2nd at 3:15 pm.

CBS Sports.com reports the Las Vegas Raiders have made quarterback Derek Carr a wealthy man. Carr has agreed to a three year contract extension worth $121.5 million which will keep him in silver and black through the 2025 season.
