The always- popular and exciting WHOP’er of an Egg Hunt is coming up Saturday at Tie Breaker Park and there’s still plenty of time to pick up an egg-hunting license to make the morning go smoother.
The egg hunt is for children walking to eight-years old and there’s also a hunt for special needs children. Pam Rudd with Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation says registration starts at 9:30 and the egg hunt will begin at 11 a.m. on the dot.
The egg-hunting licenses can be picked up at The Closet on the Boulevard, Christian County Head Start, Sassystuff Consignment, Staton’s Art & Framing, The Trophy House, Stockton Mortgage, Manpower in Hopkinsville and the Christian County Health Department.
Children are encouraged to bring their own basket or bag to collect the eggs and be sure to check each egg to see if it’s a winner.
The current weather forecast for Saturday only calls for a slight chance of a shower, with temperatures rising from the upper 40’s to the lower 70’s.
