A two-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in Madisonville sent one of the drivers to the hospital.
It happened about 3:20 p.m. and a news release from Madisonville police says 25-year old Yazmeen Ocampo of Madisonville was stopped at a stop sign at West Center and North Church Streets facing south, but then failed to yield the right of way and collided with a westbound vehicle on Center Street driven by 33-year old Elizabeth Bailey of Madisonville.
Ocampo was taken by EMS to Baptist Health Deaconness Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Bailey was not hurt in the crash.
