Austin Peay got a ninth inning homerun from reserve center fielder Nathan Barksdale to get a sweep of UT Martin Sunday with a 12-10 win. The Governors are now 13-20 and 6-3 in the OVC with Eastern Illinois coming to Clarksville for a three game series beginning Thursday.
Murray State was swept at Southeast Missouri after losing an 11-10 game Sunday. The Racers are now 15-15 overall and 1-8 in the OVC heading into a Tuesday game at Ole Miss then an OVC series with UT Martin at home beginning Thursday.
Western Kentucky fell in the series finale to Florida International 6-5 on Sunday. The Hilltoppers are now 13-18 overall and 4-6 in Conference USA as they head to Vanderbilt Tuesday.
