An arrest warrant for theft of a gun was served Saturday night against a Hopkinsville woman.
It alleges that 43-year old Audrie Harris of Hopkinsville had a handgun belonging to her ex-boyfriend, and that she refused to return it.
Police say officers reviewed an exchange of text messages between Harris and the gun’s owner where she admitted to having the gun and that the victim gave her an opportunity to return it before filing a police report.
Harris is charged with felony theft of a firearm.
