Thomas Nelson scored four times in the top of the sixth inning and defeated Hopkinsville 6-4 in the Lady Tigers opening game at the John Hardin Bulldog Classic today. Kaitlyn Kaetzel had Hopkinsville’s two hits in the contest. In the second game, Grayson County picked up a 14-2 win in three innings over the Lady Tigers, who had just five hits in the game. Hopkinsville is now 2-4-1 on the season.
Christian County’s games in the Butler County Round Robin event scheduled for today are postponed due to weather. The games will be held tomorrow with the Lady Colonels facing host Butler County at 10 am and Louisville Holy Cross at 12:30 pm.
