Reds’ Schrock on injured list to start 2022 season

Max Schrock’s torrid spring is ending on a sour note. The Cincinnati Reds announced that the utility player will miss the first four-to-six weeks of the regular season after injuring his left calf during Sunday’s Spring Training game against Arizona. Schrock was tearing up the Cactus League before the injury, hitting .609 in eleven exhibition games. The Reds open the 2022 season Thursday night at the Atlanta Braves with pregame at 6:38 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.
