A Christian County Middle School teacher is among five from Kentucky invited by the National Stem Cell Foundation to attend this week’s 2022 National Science Teaching Association National Conference in Houston, Texas.
A news release says Amanda Huff from Christian County Middle School is a 2020 National STEM Scholar, who will be presenting her Challenge Project and recognized as a two-year member of the National STEM Scholar Program.
Organizers say National STEM Scholars participate in a week of advanced STEM training and national networking – and are provided with funding to implement a “big idea” Challenge Project at home and a Chromebook to facilitate ongoing collaboration. There are currently 60 Scholars representing middle schools in 29 states.
