Hopkinsville got its first win overall and its first 8th district win downing Fort Campbell 15-5. The Lady Tigers are 1-2 overall and 1-1 in district games while Fort Campbell is 1-3/0-1 in 8th district play. Hopkinsville visits McLean County Thursday while Fort Campbell meets Larue County and John Hardin Saturday.
Christian County picked up a 10-1 win over Webster County to improve to 6-2 on the season. The Lady Colonels are back in action Saturday meeting Massac County, IL and Lyon County on the road.
University Heights defeated Hopkins Central 9-6. The Lady Blazers had nine hits with winning pitcher in relief Mallory Ladd, Regan Pollard and Katie Keller each getting two hits. UHA in getting its first win is now 1-4 and hosts Russellville tomorrow.
Other Scores: Russellville topped Todd Central 6-4, Logan County edged Franklin Simpson 2-1, Madisonville blasted Caldwell County 12-2, Daviess County blanked Muhlenberg County 12-0 in 5 innings.
