Hopkinsville used an eight run third inning to blast Franklin Simpson 12-2 in 5 innings. Kaden West and Joseph Boor had four of the Tigers eight hits with Jacob Dilday going 4 2/3 innings on the mound to get the pitching win. The Tigers are now 2-3 and return to action Wednesday night at South Warren.
University Heights lost on the road at Butler County 6-5. The Blazers are now 4-3 on the season.
Trigg County swept a doubleheader from Fort Campbell winning 15-0 in 3 innings and 10-1.
