Hopkinsville police have charged a local man with felony auto theft.
Investigation determined that 30-year old Derrick Tyler of Hopkinsville allegedly worked with another suspect to steal a 2002 Ford F250 from the owner’s business on February 20 of this year.
Tyler and his accomplice allegedly caused over $1,000 in damage to the truck while getting inside and starting the ignition.
Police say there is security footage of the theft and witnesses identified Tyler as one of the two suspects.
