Hopkinsville High grad Jamarion Sharp has been named as a finalist for the 2022 Lefty Driesell Award designated by CollegeInsider.com. The award is given to the nation’s best defensive player. Sharp finished the season leading the nation in blocked shots per game at 4.6 per game. He also finished second in total blocks with 148, bested only by Auburn’s Walker Kessler who had 155. Sharp shattered WKU’s previous blocks in a single season.
