Murray State opened Ohio Valley Conference play with a 7-6 road win at Morehead State. The Racers improved to 14-6 overall as the teams play again this afternoon in Morehead.

Western Kentucky fell 10-8 in a Conference USA series opener with Southern Miss in Bowling Green. The Hilltoppers are now 9-12 overall and 1-3 in CUSA as the teams play again this afternoon.
