An arrest has been made in connection with the March 12 stabbing death of a man on North McPherson Avenue.
Hopkinsville police charged 31-year old Lance Bowden of North McPherson with murder, with an arrest citation alleging he used a sharp object to kill 31-year old John Michael Kellems of Beaver Dam and that a bloody knife was found in the room with Kellems’ body.
As previously reported, Hopkinsville police were called to the residence after a woman returned home and found Kellems’ body.
Bowden was arrested a couple days later for felony auto theft after he allegedly stole a pickup and drove it to work March 14.
He had remained in the Christian County Jail and Detective Randal Greene charged him with Kellem’s murder Thursday afternoon.
