Hopkinsville police have arrested a man wanted in relation to a shooting in Nashville that occurred over the weekend.
According to a news release, 20-year-old Isaiah Burr of Nashville allegedly shot and critically injured 20-year-old Chayna Sherill on Dickerson Pike Saturday night. Nashville police contacted HPD and said Burr could be in Hopkinsville—officers were able to locate Burr and apprehend him without incident.
He is charged locally with fugitive from another state, first-degree criminal mischief and two counts of failure to appear.
