The Advocate in Baton Rouge reports former Murray State basketball coach Matt McMahon signed a seven year deal to become the new coach at LSU. McMahon’s salary will start at $2.6 million and increase up to $3.2 million. It’s also reported that McMahon will receive an extra year on his deal if LSU gets a multi-year post season ban when it receives its NCAA sanctions or if they lose two scholarships for at least three years.
