Positivity rate drops to 3.08 percent in Ky.

The COVID-19 positivity rate has dropped to 3.08 percent in Kentucky.

According to the weekly update, there were 279 newly reported deaths in the last week, bringing the death toll up to 14,659—there were 8,693 new cases, another decreased in comparison to the week before.

There are 351 individuals in the hospital with COVID-19, 68 in the ICU and 40 on a ventilator.

Christian and Trigg counties remain in the ‘yellow’ on the community spread state map, but Todd county is in the ‘green’.
