Plea deal accepted in wanton endangerment case

A plea deal was accepted Monday morning in Christian Circuit Court for a man who pointed a gun at an employee of the Love’s truck stop on Fort Campbell Boulevard in February of last year.

Christian Circuit Judge Andrew Self made sure Trendarious Hawkins understood the agreement, which comes with a recommended two-year sentence for first-degree wanton endangerment, with the commonwealth taking no position on probation.

Final sentencing was scheduled for April 20.

Hawkins pointed a gun at an employee at the Love’s station drive-thru window on February 9 of last year. A computer check of his license plate led police to an address where Hawkins was arrested.
