HS Baseball
Christian County scored seven times in the fourth inning and held off Allen County Scottsville-who scored nine of their runs in the last two innings-14-11. Josh Snorton had three hits for the Colonels with Elijah Underhill, Carter Sholar and Jacob Jenkins each adding two. The 3-0 Colonels return to action today opening district play at Fort Campbell.
HS Softball
Christian County picked up a 6-1 road win at Logan County. The Lady Colonels are now 2-0 on the season and meet Breckinridge County and Owensboro Catholic tomorrow.
University Heights was blanked 10-0 by Todd Central in five innings. UHA was held to just three hits in the game. The Lady Blazers are 0-2 and host Christian County next Tuesday.
