University Heights Academy is celebrating one of their own being accepted in to the Gatton Academy.
Sophomore Livi Ray has been accepted to the Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science for the fall term. Students are chosen through a rigorous application process based on academic excellence, interviews, honors, and extracurricular activities.
Gatton students live on campus and attend WKU as high school juniors and seniors while taking college freshman and sophomore curriculum. At the end of their two years at Gatton, students both graduate high school and hold the standing of a college junior.
