The Christian County Health Department had 17 newly reported cases of COVID-19 in the last week, but 11 of them came from an audit of the state reporting system.
The audit found cases of COVID-19 that had been reported at a state level but had not yet been reported to CCHD, increasing the total number of cases. Of the 17 cases, only six are considered active, which brings the active case count locally up to 15 and the overall case count since the pandemic began up to 17,138.
Christian County has had 184 COVID deaths and 16,939 people have recovered from the virus.
