The 2022 Salute to Agriculture Breakfast is set for next Tuesday and this year’s keynote speaker will be Congressman James Comer.
Landon Stallons is the President of the Christian County Ag. Business Association and says the breakfast will take place at the Silo Event Center at 7:30 a.m. and they’ll hear from Congressman Comer on a variety of agriculture related topics and priorities.
He says they’ll also hand out some awards—Farmer of the Year, Friend of Agriculture, Distinguished Service and Agri-Business of the Year.
They’ll auction off a country ham basket at the end of the breakfast, with proceeds to benefit the Christian County 4-H Club.
The event is free to attend but people are asked to RSVP so organizers will know how much food will be needed. For more information, call the Christian County Chamber of Commerce at 270- 885-9096.
